DAY 3: Diffuse Systemic Sclerosis, Scleroderma Awareness Month 2016

DAY 3 -Diffuse scleroderma body parts affected.

Scleroderma is a systemic disease which can affect the entire body. This includes body organs, muscles, nerves, glands…. EVERYwhere! This makes for a very challenging time at tying to manage and control the symptoms, since there is no cure. The treatments available are symptom suppression agents at best, which bring along side effects to add to the scleroderma symptoms.

Chronic fatigue and pain often accompany the multitude of symptoms brought about by the diagnosis. This will be featured later on in June Scleroderma Awareness Month.

The Limited form of scleroderma can also affect the internal organs. See Day 1
 for more information.
